As a freelance consultant and university lecturer specializing in DEI and universal accessibility within the tourism sector, I have provided training to SMEs in collaboration with various organizations, including the Catalan Tourism Board, Diputació de Barcelona, and numerous consortia and city councils. Since 2022, I have worked as a freelance consultant for GDSM, partnering with key event tourism entities, such as Convention Bureaus and DMOs.

Throughout my professional career, I have focused on accessibility and inclusion, beginning with my doctoral thesis that addressed this subject. I have provided training to numerous companies in the Catalan tourism sector regarding accessibility. Recently, recognizing the significant gap in training and the implementation of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in the events sector, I have turned my attention to this area. It is essential to create DEI plans for organizations and to ensure that events are inclusive for all participants.
