I have designed a sustainability Hub for a travel show in Barcelona. I developed a program that offered an interactive experience that will include lectures, a panel discussion with audience participation and workshops designed to promote more responsible actions in our sector. The talks covered various sectors, including accommodation, travel agencies, gastronomy and destinations, from both the public and private sectors. The aim is to offer a more holistic approach and to learn from the different areas involved. Attendees had the opportunity to interact with the most influential figures in the sector, recognized experts in sustainable tourism, not only in Catalonia but also in various regions of Spain and Europe.
Additionally, I have conducted sessions for SMEs and universities on designing more sustainable events that positively impact destinations-economically, culturally, and in terms of tourism-while minimizing any adverse effects.

I am a coach and auditor for the Travelife certification. Many of these companies are focused on MICE and events. My role involves assisting in implementing effective practices, policies, and action plans aimed at reducing environmental impact. This encompasses minimizing waste, supporting local economies, and promoting sustainable behaviors among attendees. Sustainability management is fundamentally about commitment and the consistent application of sustainable business practices. This includes monitoring and manage the impacts, supporting suppliers to be more sustainable.
