I have 10 years of experience in the tourism and MICE sector, co-producing events and collaborating with suppliers in the tourism and MICE industries. At the same time, I have provided consultancy services for venues and sector agents to develop improvement strategies regarding services and event marketing, taking into account sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and accessibility as differentiating factors.

Additionally, I collaborate with the CASMACS association of deaf persons, and the surrounding regions, to ensure events are accessible in sign language. Our project innovates by developing accessible websites for deaf individuals, incorporating sign language video guides to provide event information in a visual format. This enhances digital inclusion and accessibility for those with hearing impairments. Additionally, tablets are used during events to offer real-time translation via professional interpreters, overcoming communication barriers. This ensures smooth interaction and active participation for deaf attendees, improving the overall experience and fostering inclusion.

The relevance of this project for the events sector is clear, as deaf individuals represent an important part of society that seeks to enjoy events and cultural activities in the same way as the rest of the population.
