I've been running a start up in a challenging field (sustainable spaceflight) since 2009. This has exposed me to all sorts of stakeholders, from investors to regulatory agencies. We have survived through many difficult situations. Several of my former employees went on to start wildly succesful companies. I am passionate to share in anyway I can.
Before that, I ran for 3 years the Aerospace Cluster of Catalonia. We had over 90 members, mostly SMEs, and I was exposed to their challenges, always trying to help.
Experiences
Climate change and circularity: contributing to carbon neutrality, the circular economy and sustainable mobility.
We substitute polluting rockets with zero-emission balloons.
Space is an area of the economy of growing importance. We at Z2I were the first in Europe, back in 2009, to propose environmentally responsible ways to access Space.
Talent and inclusion: upskilling and future capabilities, more accessible events and diverse participation.
I lectured at the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya on Space Propulsion and Spacecraft Engineering. I helped many students in their careers, by providing internships, recommendation letters, mentorship, etc. Some of them have become extremely succesful entrepreneurs on their own. Of which I'm proud.
Other experiences
