The first 11 years of my career I worked in the international food & beverage and convention services industry with luxury hotels in Germany, the UK and the USA.
In 1991 I kick-started my own boutique event agency, which I sold to the MCI Group on 2007.
I was Regional Managing Director for CD Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic. Together with my Co-MDs and teams, I developed MCI Germany from 30 people located in Berlin to 130 people in four offices.
During this period I initiated two major acquisitions, EMC in 2011 and Hagen Invent in 2014 and led their corporate integration.
In 2016 MCI Germany was one of the largest profit contributors amongst the 61 MCI offices worldwide and No. 7 in Germany's Largest LiveCom Agency Ranking.
Today I offers strategic expertise and support, training and growing companies, associations, and institutions in the Global Meetings Industry and lead the development of the Event Design Collective in Germany. I am a Boardmember of the Berlin Event Network.

I have always been involved in industry associations and given volunteer time to help shape the future of the Meetings Industry on a local, national and international level.
In 2017 I have served as Vice-Chair of Finance of the MPI International Board of Directors after having been a board member since 2013.
Governance and impact: regenerative business models with lasting impact, cross-sector and local communities’ platforms, profitability and tech access.
I was part of the DIN ISO 20121 Working Group Germany "Sustainability in Event Management" from 2009 - 2012.
Since 2012 I am a Certified.de Auditor for Certified Green Hotels, Certified Business Hotels and Certified Conference Hotels.
As a Board Member of the Berlin Event Network I am in charge of Sustainability and the support of the City of Berlins Sustainable Berlin programm.
