I represent an SME company in Barcelona, as all Helmsbriscoe Associates are independent licensees and entrepreneurs operating in our respective countries.
We leverage the collective strength of Helmsbriscoe's global network and purchasing power to secure better rates and favorable contract conditions when sourcing hotels and venues for MICE events on behalf of our clients and providing cost-effective solutions and streamlined processes in the Business Events (MICE) sector.
Through my ARVP (Associate Regional Vice President) role, I mentor, support, and develop new associates in my region.
Helmsbriscoe is the Global Leader in Hotel Site Selection and the placement of Meetings and Events. In 2023, HB booked 6.8 million room nights, for a booked revenue of $1.67 Billion (+$245M vs 2022), and 36,500 events. In 2024, we achieved $1 Billion earlier than ever before

As an ARVP, my role involves training and mentoring new Associates joining Helmsbriscoe to enhance their understanding of how hotels manage and approach the MICE segment. This includes insights into how hotel revenue strategies influence rates, as well as the availability of accommodations and meeting spaces.
I guide them in becoming industry experts in venue sourcing, rate negotiation, and securing concessions. Most importantly, I teach them how to thoroughly review and negotiate hotel contract clauses to ensure favorable terms for our clients
