In 1995 I started as an entrepreneur in the event business with Levensgenieters.nl, a full service event company doing corporate events, teambuilding and incentives. I run this company for 18 years with 5 to 10 employees. In 2009 I started EventSummit, the biggest one day platform for the Dutch event industry. One day, 500 exhibitors, 4500 visitors and 20 speakers. In this role I have contact with most of the stakeholders within the industry. Media, trade associations, corporate eventplanners, venues, etc. From 2016 till 2018 I was Chairman of CLC Vecta, one of the biggest trade associations in Holland.

Climate change and circularity: contributing to carbon neutrality, the circular economy and sustainable mobility.
Because we have ons of the biggest networks in the industry, we have the role to make the world more sustainable. Our theme for the next EventSummit is 'All signs on Green'. One of the theme areas in the Impact Square where 30 exhibitors can show there services or products to make the world more beautiful.
Customer experience: hybrid and digital integration, immersive technologies and interaction, personalisation and community building.
During Covid we started the Live Community where we wanted to connect corporate planners. Now we work with our Let's Get Digital app. Together with this company we are constantly improving this community app with new features. We send newsletters to 48000 eventprofessionals, we have 9000 followers on our Socials. We are working hard to connect the event industry by an online community and several network events throughout the year.
