Weavii is developing a hybrid digital platform that combines a professional network with a SaaS-enabled opportunity marketplace, designed to simplify collaboration between artists and businesses.

Through AI-powered matchmaking, enhanced artist profiles, and semi-automated legal, payment, and project management tools, Weavii provides an end-to-end operative ecosystem that enables efficient, inclusive, and sustainable partnerships across the creative industry. By bridging artistic talent and business demand, Weavii aims to unlock new artistic and cultural value in the business events space through curated artistic engagement, streamlined collaboration, and equitable access to creative opportunities.

The aim of Senseway is to enhance the inclusion and accessibility of events for all audiences - the visually impaired, the cognitively impaired, the motor-impaired, the mobility-impaired, the anxious, the elderly and foreigners - for anyone who feels the need to be accompanied in unfamiliar and/or complex venues.

Senseway aims to provide a seamless, autonomous experience for everyone, while enhancing the visitor experience for true inclusion in the events sector. Senseway is an indoor and outdoor pedestrian GPS system that enables users to travel independently and prepare their journeys in advance. The impact of Senseway: greater autonomy, increased participation by all sections of the public and a greater commitment to inclusion.

The EMHUS project (Empowering Human Skills in the Touristic sector in the era of AI) seeks to develop an intelligent assessment tool for detecting the skills necessary to workers in the touristic sector, when they collaborate with technologies and AI. We are collaborating with an international institution Leader in Tourism and Hospitality, to design the assessment tool and its intelligent features, for the measurement of new skills. The service will be offered through a new version of Edulai platform for a more personal and interactive experience during and after the assessment. This way new skills when collaborating with AI, will be assessed and developed; the process will be personal but automated, improving quality of the experience and of the follow up support. Our solution intends to improve the skills of 2000+ workers in the touristic sector

training aligned with international sustainability frameworks, participants gain competencies in carbon footprinting, sustainable logistics, ESG reporting, and regenerative practices.

The Academy offers accredited, project-based learning through digital, hybrid or on-site delivery, ensuring global accessibility. Backed by major industry organisations, it bridges the sustainability skills gap in the events industry by empowering professionals to lead transformation and meet Net Zero targets, driving sustainability in business events.

PROA is a free software tool designed to assess and improve the inclusiveness, sustainability, and usability of business event venues.

The project will expand to cover cognitive accessibility and evaluate congress centres and unique spaces. It offers personalized reports, training for venue managers, and access to strategic data for destinations. Aligned with the goals of the BEFuture programme, PROA aims to position Catalonia as a European leader in inclusive and accessible business events, advancing the transformation of the MICE sector towards a more resilient and equitable model.

This project helps the business events sector prepare for the future by co-developing a fair, evidence-based approach to accessibility and inclusion.

Young professionals from a variety of nationalities / cultural backgrounds (participants in the World Leisure Field School 2025) will work together with experience experts with disabilities, to co-design active integration of people with disabilities, ensuring inclusion in leisure, work, and career growth. We will explore possibilities for equal participation: of people with disabilities in shaping event planning, operations, and leadership, ensuring a fairer, more dynamic industry. This way we hope to restore the human dimension: prioritizing accessibility ensures genuine human interaction, empathy, and meaningful engagement.

The BEFuture "RoCamRoll Join-2" will offer easy accessibility during events with real-time transcript and translation, without the need for internet connectivity. To achieve this project, we'll use available AI models to work offline within local box with easy configuration, making it suitable for event organizers and public institutions that prioritize accessibility during their events.

EMVI is an innovative AI-powered application that supports blind and visually impaired individuals in their daily lives and enriches their cultural experiences. One of EMVI’s unique features is its art description function, which not only describes both well-known and lesser-known artworks but also links them to emotional interpretations. This allows users to experience art on a deeper level, despite their visual limitations.

The Solid Core is a pilot project that develops mid-level professionals in the cultural sector into senior enablers through workshops, mentoring, and real-world experience.

By connecting cultural professionals with the business events sector, both worlds learn from each other—combining creativity and production power with business focus and scale. This win-win strengthens Friesland’s economy and makes it a more attractive, resilient destination for future events.

“Superheroes at Your Event” promotes true inclusion by creating practical solutions that enable people with disabilities to participate safely and barrier-free at events. At its core are modular, flexible event furnishings that remove physical obstacles and make spaces accessible to all. People with lived experience are involved from the start to ensure real needs are met and inclusion becomes a standard in the event industry.

Powered by SWOOFLE Rental Furniture, an innovative company specializing in modular and adaptable event solutions, founder Georg Winkel combines years of experience with a mission to make events more inclusive, flexible, and socially responsible. SWOOFLE sets new standards for accessible, sustainable events – delivered overnight across Europe and instantly bookable.

This project addresses a key issue in the $439B global event sector: SMEs lack time and resources to implement strategic sustainability, despite growing ESG regulations and pressure to align with planetary boundaries.

We aim to validate the idea that providing SMEs with an accessible materiality assessment tool could transform the market. The pilot involves four Italian SME event suppliers who will attend two 2-hour workshops and test a prototype tool. The goal is to assess whether it helps build capacity and supports strategic, impactful sustainability actions.

Tip-Top-Tourism makes the tourism and business events sector more inclusive and sustainable by engaging people with functional diversity as co-creators of accessible experiences.

Participants are trained to assess the full tourism value chain, transport, accommodation, venues, and service design, using Universal Design principles. Their feedback becomes actionable insights for tourism SMEs and MICE professionals, supported by AI and data analysis. Starting in Catalonia, the project is scalable and promotes a human-centered, collaborative model that drives innovation, inclusion, and digital transformation.
